Miley Cyrus was seen shooting a new music video at a Malibu beach on a sunny Monday. The 28-year-old artist, originally from Tennessee, seemed to be having a blast as she danced around in the sand and surf while the video team captured the scenes. Known for her daring outfits, Miley surprised fans by opting for cozy winter wear this time, sporting a chic bleached mullet hairstyle.

Lovely locks: The famous singer sported a bright platinum bleached mullet during the video shoot. She paired it with a stylish deep purple blouse with a high neckline to make her blonde hair stand out even more. She rocked a pair of flowy high-waisted plaid pants that swayed in the ocean breeze. To complete the look, she added a pop of color with a red-and-green scarf, matching bracelets, and a collection of rings on her fingers. While she opted to go barefoot, the rest of the crew donned appropriate footwear for the shoot.

The artist wore a red and green scarf paired with matching bracelets, along with several rings during the video shoot. Two of the rings prominently featured her initials. While she didn’t wear a face mask, some of the production crew did. At one point, she was captured standing on one leg, flexing her biceps, and making a silly face for the camera. Later on, she was seen playing with a big white poodle, which appeared to be having a great time.

The usual sight: Sporting a bra top during her appearance at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival held at T-Mobile Arena, the singer was seen engaging with the crew between takes. She seemed to be in a happy mood, laughing and joking with the production team. To protect her from the intense California sun, a crew member was seen holding a large umbrella over Cyrus’ head. Later on, when the shoot had to change locations, the singer jumped into a rental cart and drove across the sand to a parking lot near the beach. She didn’t even bother putting on shoes as she walked across the scorching hot concrete.
Staying apart: The musician opted not to wear a face covering while filming the video.
Still full of energy: Cyrus showed no signs of fatigue as he happily pursued the playful pup for a long time.
Break time: Following a long period of shooting under the scorching sun, the vocalist sought shade under an umbrella graciously held by one of the crew members.
The newest album from the former Disney Channel star, titled Plastic Hearts, dropped on November 27th to much anticipation. Leading up to the full album release, two singles were released in August and November, drumming up excitement before the rest of the tracks were unveiled to fans.
Plastic Hearts took a more rock-centered approach, a departure from the mixed reactions her previous album, Younger Now, received commercially. During the making of her seventh album, Cyrus worked with a variety of artists, such as the British pop sensation Dua Lipa, as well as music icons Billy Idol and Joan Jett from the 80s era.
